About Us - About ITE

About Us means about our community.  Innovative Technology Enterprises (ITE) at UMSL is the University incubator housing a portfolio of chemistry-based early stage companies and University research groups.  The Missouri Institute of Mental Health (MIMH) has over 50 researchers at ITE studying numerous aspects of mental health, as well as providing training and evaluation services to our region and the state.

ITE started in 2008 with three initial clients MOgene, Quodient (then Binary Dock), and MultiCoreWare.  Check out our portfolio page to see other success stories as well.

The heart of ITE incubation is in providing high quality wet lab space oriented toward chemistry.  Early stage companies needing chemistry support will find ITE unsurpassed in quality and service.

ITE is located just 2 miles from the university campus, near Lambert International Airport. ITE is a 53,000 square-foot facility with over 30,000 square feet of leaseable and common area space (offices, wet labs, conference rooms, etc).

Incubator facilities include a wide range of shared resources for tenants and clients, from high-performance computing to business equipment and conference rooms.
