With ITE’s in-house coaching, our staff monitors progress toward established milestones. When appropriate, ITE can call an external network of mentors and service providers to help a tenant find valuable expertise, allowing the company to get beyond stumbling blocks and back onto a course of rapid success.
Our external network of mentors, MentorNet, comprises a unique group of in-house and virtual resources aimed at supporting the planning, business development, training and fundraising efforts of nascent and growing companies. MentorNet participants include:
Gateway Venture Mentoring Service – GVMS provides mentoring for non-IT-related startup companies. Mentors include serial entrepreneurs and professional service providers who offer their expertise at no cost to member companies. Mentors of the program meet monthly for company updates and information about regional and state-wide entrepreneurial activity.
Information Technology Entrepreneur Network (ITEN)—Sister organization to GVMS, ITEN provides mentoring/advisory services for IT-related startup companies. Training programs span the early stages of development from concept development, to business model validation, to investor presentation training, to training for rapid growth.
